What happens when an artist has too much time on her hands?
She makes clocks of course!
Now available, Art Clocks by artist Carmen I Hurt.
Images of Carmen's most popular paintings are printed on canvas, and affixed to gesso board with a 1.5" cradle and natural wood sides. The clock face is then sealed with several coats of clear varnish after which, clock parts and hands are attached. The 1.5" depth allows the clock parts to be competely recessed allowing the clock to hang flat against the wall, or may be used as a free standing shelf clock.
The clock parts are the Quartex brand, Q 80 Premium Quartz Clock Movements with a 10year warranty. The clocks require one AA battery, which is not included.
